(In the Academy of Super-Heroes universe, it was mentioned at one point that a group of super-villains had got together to standardize equipment interfaces in part because it made retraining minions easier when one of them was in jail and the minions got hired by someone else.)
Now I’m just wondering about Dr. Abyssal’s father. Did he have his own complex, or did he encourage Dr. Abyssal’s… issue.

Dr Ominous doesn’t consider himself a villain, but if he had to describe himself as one, he’d at least say he was lawful evil.
Well, few people truly consider themselves to be evil.
