Unrelated to anything, one suspects that Jahla’s tears indicates that she isn’t primarily being motivated by rage at this point, so much as sorrow. I’m assuming a lot, but the Dara-Groon seem to have had a warrior culture thing going, and Jahla’s lashing out at Mars would likely have eventually allowed her to die in battle. In short she may have been trying to commit suicide by unified galactic space navy. The situation which Xani has engineered allows Jahla to achieve the same goal, but faster, and with much less collateral damage.
Hmm… neither forceful commands, cursing, or quiet regret can resolve programming logic errors. I say this from long experience.
