Huh, my original thought was that this page meant that the Guardian Moon had sent Corvus back, presumably to make the future even “better” (based on absolutely nothing, I predict that the double plus good version of Corvus’ future would look like a marriage between Big Brother and Skynet). Rereading this and page 2, Corvus appears to be referring to the old machine which sent him back. He is merely unaware, or appears to be unaware, of its intentions (which may not necessarily be benevolent).
