Gireeth’s father was a bit of a dick, and by bit, we mean he was a massive dick, but we’re being polite about it. Because of this, it was no surprised when his father was assassinated twice on the same day. The crown was then passed onto Gireeth while still in his mother’s womb. Yeah, they actually put the crown on her pregnant belly, it was both ridiculous and adorable. Spared from his father’s taint Gireeth was raised by his intelligent and loving mother and mirrored her values and reinforced the policies she enacted while she ruled. Even after her came of age, he holds her close as his most trusted adviser. It could be said that he’s quite the momma’s boy, but people love the queen, so it’s much more of a compliment.
