They say that everyone is the hero in their own story. Dr. Ominous knows he’s the villain of his story, but at the same time he’s a necessary evil. The world, its heroes, and population as a whole must be tested in order to better themselves. One could consider his crimes a form of ‘tough love’.
However he’s the opposite when it comes to his daughter, Dumpling. He is more that willing to bend over backwards to shower his daughter with all the affection he knows she deserves. In once instance, when finding out that Dumpling’s favorite cartoon show was going to be canceled he used half the profit from a recent museum heist to by the rights and continue having it produced.
