The Countess’ plan puzzles me. She’d like Xani and co. to bring her stuff in exchange for letting them go.
But, once they leave, she could take whatever she wanted. Of course, once they’re gone, it’s only 40 minutes or so before the cavalry shows up (20 minute flight back to civilization, 20 minute flight back). Less time, actually, considering they could just phone home and direct the cavalry to come.
Since the ship itself is presumably immobile, the Countess’ best bet would seemingly be to offer to leave without putting up a fight in exchange for whatever random discovery Xani and Co. grab on their way out. Alternatively, they could ambush the team when they emerge from the ship, but still only increases their time at the site by a few hours.
She legitimately doesn’t want any harm to come to her people, and would rather Xani and crew endanger their lives, and leave whatever they find in a nice pile by the door for Truck to collect.
Sure, they could ambush Xani and crew when they exit, but this gives her a chance to talk to chat. She’s desperate for some quality banter.

I’m suddenly reminded of one of my favourite lines from the Beast Wars CGI cartoon.
Blackarachnia: Why do you always talk to yourself?
Megatron (startled): Uh, I simply have a penchant for intelligent conversation.
That Megatron was deliciously evil!
Mmmm, delicious, delicious ham…
